Feel confident in this fashionably functional raglan peplum top made with a beautiful floral ponte de roma knit fabric. Whether your body type is athletic, curvy, or thin; or whether you are tall, short, or of average height, peplum tops will never let you down and the raglan sleeve instantly flatters your shoulders—whether they are broad, thick or thin. They make you instantly feel beautiful on your bad days. Now we know our flattering and confidence-boosting trick! The fabric featuring bright pops of orange and pink flowers set against the backdrop of beige color and a flirty peplum were used and drafted, respectively, to redefine a typically sporty design—raglan sleeve top—which in turn plays up a sporty but chic vibe. Yet better, this was finished with a touch of a gold zipper in the back. Finish this versatile body flattering raglan peplum with denim capri or slim pants, bright solid color pumps or neutral pumps and add simple accessories such as stud earrings for the occasion of hosting a girl’s night. Or switch up in comfortable skinny jeans and chic slip-on sneakers for a walk in the park with your furry friend or to run errands.

Fun Fashion History: Raglan

According to Wikipedia, the raglan sleeve style is named after Fitzroy Somerset, also known as Lord Raglan, a 19th century British commanderinchief who is said to have worn a raglansleeved overcoat after the loss of his arm in the Battle of Waterloo. Some have speculated that the raglan style was developed because the sleeve fit better on his armless side than a traditional shoulder and sleeve.
