How about this classy yet funky look with this purple mandarin collar batik button down shirt?!

In my search for something almost solid with shades in the same color family, I ended up choosing this batik fabric with two shades of purple showing darker purple striped circular abstract diamonds against the backdrop of lighter purple. Added to this eclectic coloration is a cultural dynamic which excites one’s playfully innocent intentions. I love prints with cultural influences and classic reference to remind me of my heritage. Further enhance this look with a pair of rolled up jeans and a pop of bright color with heels to play off the color of the shirt nicely. Or simply pair it with short denim shorts to show some skin; This balances with the upper covered-up part. Rock this look at a musical festival with your friends. For a more professional look, simply pair it with slim slacks or a pencil skirt with work appropriate pumps.

For the pattern used, I skipped the collar, drafted ruffles, and then hem rolled the edges with

lime thread. For the buttons, I used the same fabric and covered them with it.
