This contemporary fun yet professional button down shirt with print stripes of pink, gray and
navy blue intertwined in an interesting way is a great way to rock at work. For a work appropriate look, I paired it with a white suede pencil skirt. Roxie gave me this fabric as a thank you gift. I must admit it was an acquired taste. Deciding to make it work, I used pearl buttons to give the shirt an undertone of sophistication and made the shirt custom fitted and flattering for my body. As for the white suede pencil skirt, I drafted my own skirt pattern using my personal body measurements. Accessorizing with my black leather obi belt adorning my waist provides a chic streamlined look. This accent also softens the stiff fabric of the white suede. Nonetheless, I am in love with this skirt for it's comfy and versatile. It easily dresses down with a simple loose gray shirt paired with sandals. As for the outfit you see in the pictures, the completeness of this look is achieved with the accessories of the black leather obi belt and befitting black leather heels. Achieving presentable looks is equally as important as achieving goals at work. As they say in business “Dress for Success!”
