FLORAL HOURGLASS

Want to look athletic without looking frumpy in a typical tank top and shorts? This design is the way to go! It allows you to choose feminine fabrics to soften the sporty vibe! The pattern used for this design is Burda 6851. I totally love this pattern because it has contrast color blocks that allow me to choose at least three different fabrics to create the look I desire. Needless to mention, this design offers the piece shaped in an hourglass to make my body look slimmer. Roxie used the same pattern but with different fabric. See her top in the "Sporty and Sophisticated" post. You will see how much fun we had! I paired this top with leather pants and black heels for a super hip look.

This fabric, used to make the leather pants, is pretty stretchy but firm enough to hug the legs.

I love this Ponte de Roma fabric because it has flowers against the backdrop of the strips. It has a vintage feel to it.
